Web5 jun. 2003 · As far as I know no one should be running DOT 5 fluid in an altima. Its a silicon based fluid. You can't mix it with DOT3 or 4 at all. And it's supposed to significantly reduce brake feel. Heck you don't even need to run Dot 4. Vavoline synthetic dot 3 should be plenty fine. And its a lot cheaper.
